Grand Opening: A Bite To Eat, Loganville, GA
Update: The Loganville eatery announced on March 31 that it is introducing a new entree on Sunday, April 2: The Airline Chicken Breast combo with mixed vegetables. Dress for the weather and head on over to check out the fantastic food and live band this weekend.

The eatery is owned by our good friends, Gary and LaDonne Howard. The couple used to sell their “bites” after the worship service in the parking lot at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, located in the city of Stonecrest. They gained a huge following as the hungry crowds grew on Sundays after church.
The Howards took their mobile pop-up concept to the next level by buying property and moving a building to the site that is now A Bite To Eat in Loganville.
On Feb. 26, we attended the soft grand opening of A Bite To Eat. The eatery offers outdoor seating and gourmet burgers(beef, turkey, salmon and plant-based), gourmet hotdogs, loaded pitas, Krack Wings, grilled turkey ribs, grilled salmon combos and other specialties.

A Bite To Eat is a nice spot where you can enjoy eating al fresco(outdoors) or pick up entrees to go. The eatery offers live performances, weather permitting, making it a great outdoor gathering spot for family, friends or a date.

Gary said that A Bite to Eat is only open on Sundays for now as he and LaDonne continue to manage their eyewear business in Stone Mountain. His plan is to eventually make the site also available for private, intimate outdoor celebrations.

During our visit, Gary insisted that we try the Krack Wings. We did. They were moist and seasoned to perfection—as addictive as the crazy name suggests. We also enjoyed the grilled salmon and veggie medley combo, and the “LaDonne Pita” pita loaded with grilled shrimp, lobster, mushrooms, bell peppers , onions and melted cheese. All were slam dunks! The pita choices include steak, chicken, seafood or vegetarian.
