Voices of Faith hosts tea +fashion show, Stone Mountain, GA

I had an awesome time watching my 7-year-old granddaughter, Luna, walk the runway at Voices of Faith Church’s Tea and Fashion Show on April 29. This was Luna’s first fashion show and it was a treat seeing her and the other kids on stage amongst the adult models.

Luna wore a yellow dress with a brown sash adorned with two sunflowers in the first scene. In her second scene, she sported a blue dress and sunglasses.  She was strutting down the runway like she had been in many fashion shows. Of course, her mom, Mackenzie, Nana Val, great-grandmother Julie and family friend, Laquetta, were cheering her on and some of the other members of the church.

Early arrival for my daughter, wife, mother-in-law and family friend. They had a chance to chat, take pictures and shop the vendors before the sold-out program began.

Luna is doing her thing in her sparkly shoes. She said in addition to being on stage, the best part of her fashion show experience was making new friends.
