Metro Cafe Diner+Bar, Stone Mountain, GA

There are always plenty of options at Metro Cafe Diner & Bar. You know you’re in for a treat when you enter the diner and see the array of cakes displayed at the counter. This is one of our favorite go-to spots for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you’ve never been, be prepared for a menu that looks like a small book. There’s a kids’ menu inside as well. Weekends can be crowded. Prices are reasonable and parking is free.

During this visit, we enjoyed breakfast. I had pancakes, scrambled eggs with cheese, bacon and sausage. Val had creamy grits, eggs, bacon and toast. We ordered coffee but saw others enjoying mimosas.
