Prince Resort, Myrtle Beach, SC July 28-30,2023
During our family reunion, my family stayed at the Prince Resort, located on the north end of Myrtle Beach. We were just a bit further from the reunion hotel. Val and I are pictured standing with our granddaughter, Luna, on the balcony of our unit at the Prince Resort. The unit had two bedrooms, two baths, a full kitchen, combined living room/dining room and washer and dryer. We were on the eighth floor and had a beautiful view of the Atlantic ocean. We enjoyed watching the sunsets and sunrises on our balcony. So refreshing to feel the warm breezes. Guess what! The unit was decorated in blue and green—our family reunion colors. Made us feel happy.
The resort offers an array of free family activities such as the fire show for guests to enjoy. There’s a pool, hot tubs and fountain for smaller kids to splash around. The resort also has a bar and grill and an on-site restaurant with reasonably priced food($13 for the breakfast buffet including beverages). We watched a wedding on the beach during our Sunday breakfast at the restaurant.
Another thing about the Prince Resort: Summer and fall perks include discounts to nearby attractions such as the Fun Warehouse, Medieval Times, Wonderworks Museum and more.

Never shy about taking the stage, my granddaughter, Luna, 7, (second from left) , eagerly jumped up to participate in the pool-side fire show at the Prince Resort. When the performers introduced the show and mentioned Hawaii, Luna got excited. She has experienced Hawaiian culture, having vacationed there with her mom twice. I’m glad that Luna and the other kids volunteered to dance. One of the entertainers ran over to me trying to get me to dance. I was able to decline and keep my nice spot on the sideline taking photos and video taping.
